S.R.Claridge writes Mystery and Romantic Suspense novels. Her work has been said to have the energy of Dan Brown, the mystery of Mary Higgins Clark and the humor of Janet Evanovich. Claridge novels will take you to the edge of your seat, keep you guessing until the very end and ultimately warm your heart. It is on the pages of every S.R.Claridge novel that Mystery and Sensual Suspense collide.

Melinda's Psychological Prowess

Since it is Valentine’s week, I am giving a shout out to some of my favorite fellow VHP authors whom I feel privileged to have met and grown to love.  They don’t know I’m doing this…it’s my secret surprise Valentine to each of them.  I’ve already introduced  Smoky Trudeau Zeidel and Charmaine Gordon, and now I am happy to write about Melinda Clayton.

Melinda is the author of Appalachian Justice, Return to Crutcher Mountain and Entangled Thorns.

Entangled Thorns is one of my favorites and has received rave reviews from readers everywhere.  If you haven’t read it, pick up your copy today.

In addition to writing, Melinda has an Ed.D. in Special Education Administration, and is a licensed psychotherapist in the states of Florida and Colorado.  Her vast experience working in the field of mental health gives her a unique perspective on human behavior, and she likes to explore this dynamic in her writing.
Not only does she explore it in her novels, but her psychological prowess makes the profiles of her characters leap alive on the pages, taking her stories to a whole new depth.
Melinda lives in central Florida with her husband, two children, and various cats.
Happy Valentine's Day, Melinda!  :)

  2. Hi Melinda,

I home somebody gives you a Snickers or a Mars Bar for Valentine's Day. If not, perhaps you need to suggest counseling of some kind.

  3. Chocolate! 8-)

That had more to do with Malcolm's comment than this profile. Melinda is one of my favorite authors ever, not just VHP authors. You do her proud here, Susan.
