S.R.Claridge writes Mystery and Romantic Suspense novels. Her work has been said to have the energy of Dan Brown, the mystery of Mary Higgins Clark and the humor of Janet Evanovich. Claridge novels will take you to the edge of your seat, keep you guessing until the very end and ultimately warm your heart. It is on the pages of every S.R.Claridge novel that Mystery and Sensual Suspense collide.

"Chelle"-ing Out Great Novels

During Valentine’s week, I am giving a shout out to some of my favorite VHP authors whom I feel privileged to have met and grown to love.  They don’t know I’m doing this…it’s my secret surprise Valentine to each of them.  I’ve already introduced Smoky Trudeau Zeidel, Charmaine Gordon and Melinda Clayton and now I would like you to meet Chelle Cordero.

Chelle’s first novel was published in 2008 and since that time she has solidified her standing as a Romantic Suspense writer, having released seven romantic suspense novels and one mystery novel to date.  She has also written countless short stories which are available in the Vanilla Heart Anthologies.

She is currently working on her next murder mystery.  Final Sin is one of my favorites by Chelle Cordero and I can’t wait until I have the time to read more of her work.  If you haven't yet read her books, get one today... you won't be disappointed!

I’m not her only fan, as her novels have been nominated for and received numerous awards.  Bartlett's Rule was named one of Carolyn Howard-Johnson's Top Ten Reads for 2009; Final Sin was a 2009 Pushcart Nominee; and Hostage Heart, Final Sin and A Chaunce of Riches were nominated in the 2009 Preditors’ and Readers’ poll and had top-ten finishes. Chelle Cordero was recently featured as one of the authors in "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" published by The Author’s Show in 2010.

Chelle lives in the suburbs of Rockland County, NY with her husband, Mark, of 35-years and family. They have two adult offspring and three mischievous and spoiled cats, one of whom has taken up permanent residence on Chelle’s desk. Chelle is a full-time freelance journalist for multiple publications, her articles appear regularly throughout North America, and she writes a monthly column on NYS Emergency Medical Services issues (she is also a volunteer EMT and the current President of her local ambulance corps).

Chelle Cordero belongs to the VHP Authors Group and the Arts Alliance of Haverstraw Rockland Author’s Series. Along with fellow VHP authors Charmaine Gordon and Janet Lane Walters, Chelle is part of TLC: Three Local Characters With Stories To Tell, an author book discussion and workshop seminar program.

She maintains an author’s blog at http://chellecordero.blogspot.com/

Happy Valentine’s Day, Chelle!  J

  3. Thank you so much Susan. This was an absolutely delightful surprise! It is always an honor to be mentioned by someone in such a complimentary way, but when that mention comes from a fellow author who have proven her own worth in talent and "niceness", it is fantastic. Thank you over and over again.

  4. This is fun! Chelle's the second-longest author in residence at VHP. She's much more prolific than the first-longest author in residence. But I'm working on catching up to her! 8-)
