I’d like to introduce you to our Tuesday Talks Spotlight Guest, internationally acclaimed author, Mian Mohsin Zia.
Susan: Mian, thank you for allowing me to interview you on my blog, Feeling the Fiction and for being our first "Tuesday Talks" guest. Let’s start by having you tell us where you’re from.
Mian: I have lived all my life in Pakistan
feel blessed to be Pakistani.
Susan: Where is the most unique place you have traveled?
Mian: My home is the most unique place for me and will stay so. The comfort and
peace you get after entering your home you do not get that comfort and peace at
any other place.
Susan: Before we talk about the books you have written, tell us what kind of books you
enjoy reading.
Mian: Any book that not just entertains you but also enlightens you; ones with many
different thoughts that stay with you long after you are done reading it.
Susan: Aside from your success in the writing industry, what in your life has given you
the greatest sense of accomplishment?
Mian: I have been blessed with many accomplishments in all fields; my educational career, my professional career as a banker, an online English language trainer, as a heave weight trainer and most importantly as an author. All of them have their moments of success and accomplishments. I always say, “No matter whatever level you reach in life, getting better never stops.” In addition, I always believe in one thing “All praise goes to Almighty ALLAH along with my eternal inspiration the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) as always.”
Susan: How many books have you written and how many of them are published?
Mian: Alhamdulillah, I have written three books so far and all of them are published and acclaimed
internationally. One of them is also published in Russian. All my books are available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and everywhere books are sold.
Susan: How much character and plot detailing do you plan out before you begin writing a
novel, or are you a “pantser”?
Mian: I try to put in my soul and make it realistic for my readers. I want to give them something
that not just provides them with entertainment but also enlightens them. I prefer to write a book that enlightens. So far, I have been highly successful in my approach and my books, “ONCE” and “VICTIM OF SHAME” have set new trends worldwide in novel writing.
Susan: How and when do you write? Do you keep yourself on a schedule or do you work
while the muse is with you?
Mian: No, I don’t have any schedule. Creativity cannot be bound by any schedule. I write when
I feel like writing. I do not write just to write. I write when I feel my words will have impingement and value.
Susan: You have a new release coming out in November, tell us about it.
Mian: Yes, my latest book is VICTIM OF SHAME: Why me, God? It will be released in the beginning of November and will be available from my website, with Free Shipping facility anywhere in the US and Canada Pakistan USA
Susan: Can you give us a brief look at what VICTIM OF SHAME is about?
